Media Advisory: 2011 Retirement Confidence Survey To Be Released March 15

On Tuesday, March 15, 2011,the EBRI and Mathew Greenwald & Associates, Inc., will release results of the 2011 Retirement Confidence Survey (RCS), the nation’s longest-running and most comprehensive study of the attitudes and behavior of American workers and retirees toward all aspects of saving, retirement planning, and long-term financial security.
This is the 21st annual RCS and will contain long-term trend data going back to the earliest RCS results. Two recent waves of the RCS (2008 and 2009) measured record-low levels of public confidence in the ability to afford retirement.
